Lessons will begin
promptly at 8:30each day, with one half hour
intervals, with two 15 minute breaks and 1 hour lunch break.
Auditing is highly
encouraged, as this is a great educational opportunity for California. Auditing
will be available each day for a fee of $25 per day or $100 for all five
days.. Pre-registration is encouraged,
as space will be limited. Please bring
your own chairs.
All rides will be
private rides scheduled at one half hour
intervals. Herr Hausberger has
agreed to teach 8-10 riders per day, so there is plenty of opportunity for
auditing. Auditing for riders and one
groom is at no charge. The fee for each
ride is $150 payable in full, at time of registration . Participation is
expected to be high, and rides will be filled on a first come first serve
basis, it is recommended to register early. We need a 5o% deposit by June 5th
and the balance by July 1ST
. If a rider is registered and is unable to attend, there is no allowance for a
refund. If the ride can be filled by
the rider or by a management maintained waiting list, refund will be made
accordingly.
The
farm is approximately a 10 minutes southeast of Carmel and is easily accessible
from Highway 1. Space is limited at the
barn, so carpooling is requested and parking limited.
From 101 North take
the Monterey Peninsula exit (Highway 156) towards Monterey/Carmel. Highway 156
becomes Highway 1. Stay on Highway 1
south, bypass Carmel. Turn left on
Carmel Valley Road. Continue 4.5 miles
and look for these landmarks on the left:
CV Fire station, CV Manor, the next property, on the left is, Across the
Diagonal Farm. Look for the natural
wood post and rail fencing! The cross street (on the right ) is Via Del Cinco,
with about 10 mailboxes.
Stabling information.
Stabling is available
on a limited basis. Stalls available at
$20 per night and paddocks available for $15.
I am working on more
stabling at a very nice barn nearby.
Riders please wear
appropriate schooling attire, including tall black boot and breeches. Gloves and spurs highly recommended. HELMETS REQUIRED. No dogs please, leave them at home!
